Persevering Through the Storm

"When you walk through a storm, hold your head up high, and don't be afraid of the dark. at the end of the storm is a golden sky and sweet silver song of a lark..."
Oscar Hammerstein, II

Are you going through a storm in your life? Dark clouds, maybe hurricane force winds may be the daily forecast and you can't see beyond the storm. Persevere! Jesus is walking with you. And here is an awesome thought... God is ahead of the storm. He already sees the outcome; the glory that He will receive from you persevering through the tough times, the strength that you will gain by going through the storm and most importantly becoming more Christ- like . He is able to mold you more into His image during these times. Hold onto hope, and with faith believe that at the end of the storm there will be a golden sky and a beautiful, new song.

"For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it."
Romans 8:24-25

Thanks for posting this. It's a great encouragement right now.

We sang that song in our women's ensemble in High School. It has always been a favorite of mine.
