My brain looks normal!

I am happy to post that my MRI report on my brain came back NORMAL!!!!! This was such good news for me today and I didn't have to wait a week to hear back. So....this means that my headaches are definitely tension headaches and can be helped. My chiropractor/neurologist is wonderful, and is taking a lot of time working with me. I feel very hopeful and so does she. Thank you for all your prayers. I am looking forward to a headache free year, God willing!

Kristin -

Yerba mate is in the same catagory as any energy caffeine drink - cup of coffeee, cup of green tea/black tea.

They claim it's somehow different, but I can testify, it's affects are the same as coffee. My naturopath assured me that mate is just as stimulating as coffee or black teas and if you want a cup of coffee, you don't have to choose the mate 'cause it's healthier.

I actually like Yerba Mate, coffee, and all teas. (Not picky how I get my high!)

Yerba is a more basic pH than the acidic pH of coffee and it supposedly is good for the immune system.

Good job on the sugar!! American culture makes us think that "balance" includes sugar but for us, we said 100% NO way on the poison since 2005 and we have literally hardly even caught a cold since then. Our kids haven't missed a day of school (Cade missed one in K-garten, none during 2 years of preschool, 1st grade, and now 2nd grade). It works!!! It's so simple but it works!!

who is your chiro? I wonder if it's the same one I just found!

I went to a new one in Bend yesterday who I am so excited to start working with. I have had some major issues since my car accident and she was the first one to see that it's a structural issue due to the crash.

I am so excited to get better!

But I am so sore today I can hardly move my neck...and I wasn't sore at all before visiting. This soreness is good though - shows she is moving things around and getting to the bottom of this.

Before I met her, other drs have just examined me and said I was just fine so I was beginning to think I was going nuts! But she assured me that I have a sideways whiplash, my top rib is out of place and so much more that it all explains all the trouble I have been having.

YIPPEE!!!

When we are both all better at the same time, we'll have to do a dance together!!
